Assimilated sounds (geminate consonants) are written in double consonants.

However, you should put the letter 'T' before these letters; ち(CHI), ちゃ(CHA), ちゅ(CHU), ちょ(CHO).
e.g.: 八丁 HATCHO

Syllabic nasal is written in letter 'M' instead of letter 'N' when followed by letters 'B', 'M' and 'P'
e.g.: 難波 NAMBA, 新橋 SHIMBASHI, 本間 HOMMA, 日本橋 NIHOMBASHI

Long sounds are not distinguished in Hepburn romanization.
e.g.: 東京 TOKYO, 大阪 OSAKA, 京都 KYOTO
However, if there is 'おう' or 'おお' in your name, you can select one from either 'O' or 'OH' to match the registered name on your passport.
e.g.: 河野 KONO/KOHNO, 大野 ONO/OHNO, 加藤 KATO/KATOH
