In January 2016, the enforcement of the law concerning the use of my number was declared in order to identify individuals in administrative and financial procedures. Based on that law, it is necessary to submit the personal information including my number for securing domestic taxes of financial institutions conducting remittance services. It is mandated that financial institutions should mention the name or address of the person making the remittance that includes personal number or corporate number.

Relating to this, for those customers who are registered before December 31, 2015 and have not yet submitted my number information, are requested to submit my number information before December 31, 2018. We are very sorry to inform that our remittance service will not be available to those customers who will not submit the number information before December 31, 2018.

In addition to this, customers who have not received notification of my number, such as non-resident customers, are not eligible for this issue.

By the end of December 31, 2018, we expect to receive large amount of documents relating to my number information from our customers. Because of the large volume of the documents and limited time frame, registration of my number or corporate number may not be completed by the end of this year. In that case, our services from January 1, 2019, may not perform as smoothly as it is performing right now, if we do not receive my number information from our customers in time.

So, we humbly request our customers to submit my number information as fast as possible.

③ Resident's card (※ Personal number stated, within 6 months from date of issue at the time of arrival)

How to submit documents

You can upload my number scanned documents from My Page screen after logging your ID and passwordusing mobile phone. Or, you can send the image taken with mobile phone or the scanned data using personal computer via mail.  

Regarding the handling of customer's personal numbers, the company is based on the Act on the filing of statements pertaining to foreign remittance, in order to ensure proper taxation of the domestic tax.
